Shaan’s path into editing began with a degree in cybersecurity and a YouTube channel producing cybersecurity documentaries. Teaching himself to edit for the channel quickly became more than a practical skill; others began seeking him out to shape their own content, setting a five-year creative career in motion. He went on to complete a Master of Creative Industries, further developing the creative thinking and technical craft that underpin his work today.

Curious, meticulous and reliable, Shaan has an instinctive feel for the details that shape an audience’s response. From the timing of a cut to the rhythm of a sequence, he refines every moment until the playback feels effortless and engaging. Clients do not need to speak the language of editing. Shaan listens to what they want the work to achieve and translates that vision into an edit that lands.

At WHITEFOX, Shaan leads the editing team with a clear view of what property content needs to achieve. Each campaign has one chance to capture attention, and he shapes footage into stories that help buyers see more than a property — they see a life they could live. His eye for detail strengthens every piece of content while maintaining the pace, consistency and premium standard behind the brand.

Now based in Hawthorn after time in Sydney, Shaan is still searching for a local breakfast spot to rival Wildflower. Until then, the search continues.
